Standardbred Canada has an interesting story up now about 3-year-old pacing champs Dali and On the Brink. Seems that their trainer, Duane Marfisi, might be getting a little fed up with all the hype over Somebeachsomewhere. Here is part of what he told SC: "[Dali] trained a vicious mile a week ago today at Mohawk," said Marfisi, 43. "He came a back half in :54.3 with a final quarter in :26.3. He has been excellent. I can guarantee that this horse is going to be deserving of some press, as well."

 

Can't wait to see those two horses go tete-a-tete in a few weeks.
