Taking a Shot at Redemption

July 8th 2008

I am sure that when all the Meadowlands Pace entries are taken Share the Delight will have the lowest amount earned in 2008 of all the competitors. That's just the way his season has been for him and for us; lost opportunities, bad luck, a scoping sick. But in the end we decided that the race will be paced in the present and not the past (or the future) and so we decided to take our shot. The horse deserves a chance to put it all together at the right time. Whether he can, and what the results will be if he does, I will leave in the hands of fate and the lap of the racing gods. For right now we are just delighted, pun intended, to be part of the action, the big action.

STD was actually the 7-5 favorite in the race against the winning 8-5 second choice Bullville Powerful

Good for you and STD, Andrew....no guarantees that you'll ever be back in this spot again. I'll be pulling for both of you.

From Andrew: Thanks, Tim. It sure could look an awful lot worse.

You were 2-1 against Bullville last week, and he paid $100k to get in. No sense in not taking a shot.

Good luck. Maybe you will get the racing luck that you deserve this week! I'll be pulling for the little fella.

From Andrew: Thanks, Dean. He deserves a break.

Best wishes for a successful race. Hopefully you will be able to qualify for the final. Like you said, enjoy the fact you are going in the eliminations; how many aren't even getting that chance?

Glad to hear that you're in the box. You can't own racehorses without being optimistic. Best of luck on Saturday night.
