In what turned out to be a new track record performance, Tracys Song scored her 16th consecutive victory at Monticello Raceway on Monday afternoon when the 8-year-old pacing mare toured the double oval in 1:57.3, once again with Bruce Aldrich Jr. at the controls.

Her victory erased the former mark of 15 wins in a row set by Northern Chief and driver Mike Merton in 2010.

Maven spotted the leading One More Ginny more than 10 lengths at the opening quarter, but the 4-year-old daughter of Glidemaster came roaring back to score a 3 1/4-length win in 1:52 in the $30,000 opening leg of the Miss Versatility Series for mare trotters Monday night at Woodbine Racetrack.

Mario Baillargeon went to the front with One More Ginny as Yannick Gingras settled the heavily-favored Maven in fifth. Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi's Papa Ray ($7.40, Jim Morand) made his Delaware debut a winning one Monday by capturing the $18,000 featured Open Pace in 1:52.3.

Trained by Ron Burke, the 4-year-old Village Jolt stallion mounted his attack second-over behind Beavercreek Artist towards three-quarters as pacesetter Fissato set fractions of :27.1, :56.1 and 1:24.2. Papa Ray then tipped three wide at the top of the stretch and surged by to prevail by a length over Mojo Terror and Beavercreek Artist.

Lislea Moran was first across the wire in the $6,000 Open Pace in Northfield Park's opening race on Monday. Thomas O'Donnell owns the 7-year-old pacer. Trainer Andy Rickert called upon Northfield Park Wall of Famer Greg Grismore to drive the gelding.

Corey Callahan was slow to embrace working with racehorses, but he's been quick to win driving them.

The 35-year-old Callahan is the winningest harness racing driver in North America this year, entering Monday with 299 victories. Last month Callahan wrapped up his fourth consecutive leading driver title at Dover Downs in Delaware and he is third in the standings at Harrah's Philadelphia and fourth at the Meadowlands.

Captaintreacherous won his 2013 debut on Sunday night at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, cruising to an under-wraps 1:49.4 victory in a $62,587 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes division. Martini Hanover won the first of the four Sires Stakes splits in 1:49.3 to kick off the PASS season for the pacing colts while trainer Brian Brown sent out the other two winners, Beach Memories (1:50.3) and Normandy Invasion (1:48.4).
