Ten 3-year-old colt trotters have been entered for Sunday afternoon's 119th renewal of the $490,000 Kentucky Futurity at The Red Mile. Including among the field is Hambletonian winner Broad Bahn and Colonial Trot winner Manofmanymissions, as well as $50,000 supplemental entry Dejarmbro. There are 12 entries to the $291,000 Filly Futurity, including Hambletonian Oaks winner Bold And Fresh.

The Futurity will be contested in two $196,000 divisions, with a horse needing to win both heats in order to take home the coveted trophy. If there are two different winners, the pair will meet up in a winner-take-all $98,000 raceoff; otherwise that money goes to the straight-heats winner.

The post-position draw for the Kentucky Fututurity will take place at approximately 6:40 p.m. Thursday night on the apron at The Red Mile. The draw will be broadcast over the track's simulcast feed, and take place immediately following the non-wagering Billing race that is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Here are the horses entered in the Kentucky Futurity, in alphabetical order: Big Rigs, Broad Bahn, Dejarmbo, Fawkes, Live Jazz, Lucky Charm Hanover, Manofmanymissions, Opening Night, Whit and VC Chocoholic.

Besides Bold And Fresh, the Filly Futurity, which will be raced in two $116,400 12-filly divisions with $58,200 reserved for a possible raceoff, also includes Moni Maker winner Lady Rainbow and Crys Dream, who is coming off a 90-day suspension by the Ontario Racing Commission as a result of a positive test following her win in the Elegantimage in June at Mohawk Racetrack. Although she was suspended in Canada, Crys Dream raced three times during that period in the United States, winning her Hambo Oaks elim and then finishing third in the final, and also a third-place finish in the American National at Balmoral Park.
