The sale topper at Monday and Tuesday’s Blooded Horse Spring Sale went to Steiner Stock Farm, who signed the $15,000 ticket for Divine Rhythm, a classy 5-year-old conditioned trotter from Rosecroft. The 1.57 daughter of Donerail will eventually be added to their broodmare band.

The Peter Pan consignment featured several nice racehorses. Pandolier, a green 3-year-old New Jersey eligible daughter of Artsplace was purchased by David Spagnola of New York for $14,000. Cable Classic, a fresh, ready to race claimer from the Meadowlands, was knocked down to Nicole Owen of Pompano Beach for $14,000, and Pan Sebastian, a 3-year-old son of The Panderosa, was purchased by Rob Robinson of Ontario for $10,000.

Vince Fusco, Jr brought several aged claimers from the Meadowlands. Among them was the Artsplace gelding Artistic Power, purchased by Vince Bradley of Delaware for $12,500, and the competitive trotter, Spice Trader, who went to David Spagnola of New York for $10,000.

Ming Siu made his trip from British Columbia worthwhile when he signed the ticket for Beamin Jate at $11,500. The handsome black son of Jate Lobell had just qualified nicely at Hoosier Park. Another green 3-year-old, trotter Like Bob Promised, was purchased by Robert Montgomery of Ontario for $10,500.

A total of 604 head were auctioned off at the Delaware County fairgrounds.
