The 2-year-old colt Duneside Perch streaked to another victory, his second straight in pari-mutuel action in as many starts, turning in a 1:51.4 effort (last quarter in :26.3) in New Jersey Sire Stakes action at the Meadowlands Thursday night.

George Teague Jr. trains the Cam's Card Shark-sired colt who he also co-owns with Only Money Inc. Ron Pierce handled the driving for Teague. A $45,000 yearling purchase, Duneside Perch has now earned $39,125 and has secured a starting position in the $175,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes final.

Pierce put Duneside Peach on the point just before the half and the colt cruised through the three-quarter mile marker in 1:25.1 before sealing his victory with the speedy last quarter.

In other NJSS action for 2-year-old pacing colts, Deuce Seelster, a so of Western Maverick, won in 1:52.2 for trainer Ross Croghan and Yankee Rocketeer, a son of Artsplace out of the stakes-winning filly So Ravishing, won his second straight in NJSS competition with a 1:53.4 score.

John Campbell drove Yankee Rocketeer for trainer Kevin Lare, giving the driver-trainer duo a sweep of the Daily Double. They came back and won the second race on the card with the 2-year-old trotting filly Snow White, who started from post eight but still cruised home in :1:56.4 thanks to a :27.4 final panel.
