$180,000 colt leads way Wednesday at Harrisburg

Courser Hanover, an Astreos half brother to world champion and $307,000 earner Current Hanover and $175,000-plus winners Cancun Hanover and Runover Again, sold for $180,000 during Wednesday’s yearling sale at the Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg. Tony Alagna, second trainer to Erv Miller, signed the sale ticket as agent on Courser Hanover.

Ray Schnittker paid $100,000 for Bobbi Jo’s Lindy, a son of Cantab Hall out of the mare Bobbi Jo Mac, she a half sister to Mom’s Millionaire, the dam of this year’s world champion 2-year-old filly trotter Snow White.

Travis Alexander, acting as agent, purchased Terroronthebeach, a daughter of Western Terror out of Beach Guest, for $100,000. The filly is a half sister to the stakes-winning Guestimate and Whats Up Now. Also bringing a bid of $100,000 was the filly Somolli Song, a daughter of Muscles Yankee out of the mare CR Ma Jierra Crown, a half sister to the 1989 Two-Year-Old Colt Trotter of the Year and 1990 Yonkers Trot winner Royal Troubador. Myron Bell was the successful buyer of Somolli Song.
