With nearly a half-million dollars in earnings, the 5-year-old trotting mare Ticket To Glide sold for $220,000 Monday afternoon at the Tattersalls January Select Mixed Sale. Other top prices included $200,000 bids for Glass Pack, Cactus Creek and Givemebackmybullets.

A daughter of Yankee Glide, Ticket To Glide 3, 1:55.3 ($498,063) was purchased by Joyceann McClelland of Zanesville, Ohio. McClelland and her husband, Richard, have a small broodmare band.

With almost 300 horses sold in the back paddock at the Meadowlands Racetrack, the 3-year-old pacing gelding Glass Pack stood tied for second on the sales list with a price of $200,000 bid by Peter Heffering. The son of Cole Muffler was a dominant force in his home state of Illinois last year at two, winning seven of 13 starts, including a career-best 1:50.4 win at Springfield, and $87,197 in earnings.

Cactus Creek, last year's Adios and Little Brown Jug heat winner, also fetched a price of $200,000. The 4-year-old gelding by Artsplace was purchased by Mardon Stables of Ontario. Givemebackmybullets, a 4-year-old gelded son of Bettor's Delight, also was bought by Canadians.

Armbro Dynamic, another horse from last year's 3-year-old pacing colt class, was sold for $170,000 to the Comedy Hill Stable of Florida.

Brittany Farms bid $120,000 to purchase the 12-year-old trotting broodmare Meadowbranch Magic, which it had consigned to the sale as part of its dispersal in partnership with Daisy Acres.

A daughter of Valley Victory, Meadowbranch Magic is the dam of the Hambletonian Oaks-elim winner Jersey Gal 3, 1:54.1 ($194,872) and Man Of Action 2, 1:57.3 ($187,732).

Heathers Dream, a 4-year-old daughter of Dream Vacation currently racing at the Meadowlands, brought a bid of $90,000 from Valley High Stable. A Grand Circuit winner, Heathers Dream has a mark of 1:56 and earnings of $202,341.

Under Her Spell, a 7-year-old daughter of Artsplace out of the mare Nukes Magic, and a full sister to the $300,000-winning Art’s Tribute and half sister to the $465,000-winning Under Your Spell and $200,000-winning Magic Sign, was sold for $87,000 to Steve Jones.
