Lord Of The Rings, a colt by Andover Hall out of the mare Queen Of Angels, a full sister to the dam of world champion Chocolatier, sold for $250,000 at the Standardbred Horse Sale's Wednesday session, believed to be a record for the third day of the yearling sale in Harrisburg, Pa.

The colt was purchased by Maurizio Biasuzzi's Toss Out Stable of Pompano Beach, Fla. He was sold as hip number 768, and is the third foal of Queen Of Angels, a daughter of Valley Victory. He was bred and raised at Michael Andrew's Birch Hill Farm, a college professor at the University of New Hampshire.
