Qualifying races for 2 year olds were held at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Friday morning and among the winners was Reflection Of Blue, a colt by Bettor's Delight out of 2004 Horse of the Year Rainbow Blue.
Jason Bartlett drove Reflection Of Blue for trainer George Teague, and he put the colt on the front past the first quarter and then cruised home in 1:59.2, winning by 3 1/2 lengths.
Reflection Of Blue is the second foal out of Rainbow Blue, a daughter of Artiscape. Her first, a colt, is by Western Hanover, and she also has a yearling colt by Dragon Again.
Another qualifier of note featured the 1:58.2 performance by the filly trotter Jazzy. Trained and driven by Ray Schnittker, the daughter of Credit Winner-Ladylind won by 9 1/2 lengths with a last quarter in :28.2.
