World champion 9-year-old pacer Primetime Bobcat has been supplemented at a cost of $85,000 into this year's Canadian Pacing Derby, which will have eliminations at Woodbine Saturday night, June 17, and an $831,000(C) final June 24. Trainer Tony Montini co-owns the Abercrombie gelding along with Basil Michele and William and Joseph Rogers.

On May 13 at Woodbine, Primetime Bobcat recorded the fastest mile in history as he froze the timer in 1:47.2 in a $50,000(C) Open. The career winner of 42 races tallied his last victory on June 3 at Rockingham Park in the $120,000 New Hampshire Sweepstakes.

In 17 starts this year, Primetime Bobcat, named after Toronto radio personality Bob McCown, has a record of 11-2-2 and has banked $347,750(C) in purses.
