Gigi's Cruiser, a daughter of Yankee Cruiser out of the 1997 Ohio Triple Crown champion $253,000-winning mare Ideal Gigi, was the $35,000 sale topper at the Ohio Jug Sale, which wrapped up its two-night sale at the Eden Park Equestrian Center in Sunbury, Ohio, on Tuesday night.

Consigned by Midland Acres as agent for Conquest Acres, Gigi's Cruiser was purchased by Ohio-based trainer Virgil Morgan Jr.

Overall, 268 yearlings sold over Monday and Tuesday night, with total gross sales of $1,778,000 and an average of $6,465. The average was a 15-percent decline from last year's average of $7,661.
