Kentucky Futurity Filly winner Housethatruthbuilt, Hambletonian Oaks champion Silver Springs, and the fast, highly-respected filly Peaceful Way will square off in the Breeders Crown championship, all three advancing to the final after elims Saturday night at Woodbine.

Housethatruthbuilt won her elim in 1:55.2, rolling to the front after letting Bramasole set most of hte fractions in the mile. Housethatruthbuilt won handily while Bramasole held on for second and Blossom Seelster, who started from the rail and enjoyed a three-hole trip, got up for third with her early stretch move. Half-mile track world champion Olympics finished fourth but was placed fifth for a lapped-on break at the wire, but still advanced to the final.

Peaceful Way won the second elim in 1:55.2 as well but rallied from off the pace in the stretch drive to win. Silver Springs got away first after starting from post three, then driver George Brennan yielded to the fast-leaving Mystical Sunshine, who had started from post 10.

Jimmy Takter took the lead with Invincible Dream at about the quarter, but oculdn't hold on for the distance, fading to fifth. Mystical Sunshine held for second while 44-1 shot In The Shell was second and Silver Springs finished fourth.

Peaceful Way's driver, Chris Christoforou, said the filly's off-the-pace trip was good for her since she hadn't raced since Sept. 24. "She really only had to race a quarter of a mile," he noted.
