Personal Ad, a 4-year-old Artiscape mare driven by Jim Morrill Jr., won for the fourth time this year Wednesday at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
After finishing seventh in the $28,000 Open Handicap Pace for fillies and mares last week, Personal Ad stopped the timer in 1:53 in a race for non-winners of $8,850 or 9 extended pari-mutuels life for fillies and mares.In 10 starts this season. The Kent Sherman-trained mare has won four times while finishing second on two other occasions. She also has two third-place finishes in those 10 starts.
Sherman also collected another win in an earlier race, winning with 15-1 Jealous Heart (Mike Simons) as a 15-1 longshot. Personal Ad went off as an 8-5 favorite in her race.
Morrill Jr. won four of the first 11 races Wednesday night.Simons also collected three wins through the first 11 races of the 16-race card. (Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs)
