68 nominated to stake

The Red Mile's race secretary Nick Salvi has told The Horseman the inaugural $225,000 (est.) Moni Maker for 3-year-old filly trotters scheduled for September has drawn 68 nominations, including the winners of virtually every headline stake in 2004.



Among the nominees to the Moni Maker, which will have eliminations Sept. 10 and final Sept. 17, is the Dan Patch Award-winning Solveig. She is joined by Breeders Crown champion Flirtin Miss, Goldsmith Maid winner Aeronautess, Merrie Annabelle winner Reinvent, Pennsylvania Sire Stakes champ Coulantine, Kentucky Sire Stakes champ Centerfold Hall, Bluegrass division winner Magenta Hall and Lexington Breeders Classic champion Touch Of Moni, a daughter of Moni Maker.



Salvi also noted that 61 three-year-old filly pacers have been nominated to the $225,000 (est.) Nadia Lobell, with elims Sept. 4 and final Sept. 11. Among the Nadia Lobell nominees is Dan Patch winner Restive Hanover and world champion Cabrini Hanover.
