It was a big Thursday morning for trainer George Teague Jr. has his stable sent out seven winners among the 16 baby races held at the Meadowlands. Eleven different sires were represented among the winners, with eight making repeat trips to the winner’s circle.

Speed-badge honors on the day went to first-time starter So Over, who posted a 1:55.3 victory for Teague and driver Yannick Gingras. The son of Artiscape was a $52,000 yearling purchase by Teague and Fannin Racing.

Another of Teague’s winners was Its Rock N Roll, who scored a 1:57 win to make it two-for-two so far in his young career. The son of Rocknroll Hanover was driven by Brian Sears, who bred the colt and is a co-owner. Sears and original partner Curtis Larrimore sold a share of the half brother to Florida standout Florida Boy to football star Wayne Chrebet and Carter Racing Stable.

Among the trotters, Muscleaneous led the way with a 2:00.1 effort for trainer Ray Schnittker. The win was the second straight for the son of Muscles Yankee who is a full brother to the $465,000-wining No Pain No Gain.
