Despite a vote from the Ontario Harness Horse Association to boycott the entry box at Woodbine beginning with the January 1 program, 10 races have been carded for that date at Woodbine, with the field sizes ranging from six to 10.
A total of 93 horses were entered for the card, and entries came from a number of trainers, including well-known horsemen Kevin McMaster, Ben Wallace and Rene Laarman.
The Ontario Harness Horse Association was scheduled to meet at 7 pm Tuesday to discuss its status with contract negotiations with WEG.
