Big League Yankee, owned by members of the late baseball star Charley Keller, and Kilkerran Scot won the Thursday twin features at Dover Downs.

Meet leading driver Tony Morgan steered Big League Yankee to one of his two wins, a 1:53.4 victory taking an $11,500 male pace. The Kellers and the Biddles bred and own the Dragon Again sophomore gelding. Reserve Forces (Eddie Davis Jr.) was second with Coletown USA (George Dennis) the show horse.

Bill Emmons' Kilkerran Scot scored a 1:54.2 triumph in a $25,000 claimer with Mike Cole annexing one of his three wins for the night. Fully Exotic (Ross Wolfenden) picked up second money with Cash Only Please (Morgan), the third-place finisher.

Arty Foster's Art's Son won the battle for first place between altered sons of Artsplace, as Wolfenden guided the 4 year old to his second straight success a 1:54.1 victory in a $20,000 claimer. Art's Sake (Morgan) was runner-up with CR Shanghai (Cole) third.

Irish Shade was the longshot of the day. Jim Morand guided the 20-1 shot to a 1:55 victory to win a $15,000 claimer. Jason Skinner trains and co-owns the Shady Character gelding with Keith Murray. Northern Scholar (Morgan) was second in front of Art Of Gold (Wolfenden). (Dover Downs)
