Three Point Acres' Blowout Hanover ($6) made a successful debut with Open company with a wire-to-wire 1:52.4 win in the $17,500 Junior Open Monday at Harrington Raceway. Driven by Tony Morgan, the 5-year-old Cam's Card Shark gelding was sent hard for the front with fractions of :27.3, :55.3 and 1:24.1. He fought off a stubborn Clinton Longshot who fought first-over throughout and opened up on the field for a three-length win. Ross the Boss N was second with Village Blitz third. It was Blowout Hanover's fourth win of the year for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr.
Equally as impressive was Bill Emmons' Mattazuma ($4), who uncorked a vicious :27.2 last quarter to win in 1:52.2, the fastest time through seven days of the meet. Trained by Dylan Davis, the 7-year-old Matt's Scooter gelding was driven by Tim Tetrick.
In winners-over company, J&E Stable's Ge's Jordan ($39.20, Eddie Davis Jr.), Tom Weber's Buster Seelster ($3.60, Ron Pierce) and Patchel Family Stable's Home Run Hudson ($3.20, Tetrick) each won their respective divisions. (Harrington)
