Accident at The Meadows

Drivers Tim Twaddle and J.C. Miller Jr. went down in an accident in the first race at The Meadows Friday night, but both escaped serious injury.

Twaddle’s horse, In Town Two Win, stumbled and fell. Miller, driving Vesuvio Grande, could not avoid the fallen horse. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital via ambulance. Later that night Twaddle returned to the track to pick up his belongings and stated that he was simply sore and bruised.
