The Meadows' temporary on-track simulcast and racing facility will open its doors on Thursday. The facility is located trackside in the area known as The Adios Room. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. daily, seven days a week. The temporary facility spans 7,500 square feet and features a number of viewing options, including two teletheaters, tabletop monitors and a Player Rewards VIP room for qualified members. The facility seats 250, houses 130 monitors, 24 wagering terminals and capability for wireless handhelds. It also offers a deli concession, bar and free parking. John Marshall, general manager of The Meadows Racing said, “We have worked hard to bring this venue to Meadows race fans during construction. We are pleased to accommodate seating for 250 in our temporary; anyone familiar with the Adios Room will no longer recognize it.” Upon the return of live racing, the facility will offer a limited track view and an outdoor area. The Meadows will resume live racing in the fall on a date to be determined. (The Meadows)
