A Donald Trump/Plainridge partnership?

The Boston Globe is reporting that Donald Trump, who is scouting locations in Massachusetts after legislation was filed last month to allow three casinos in the state, has had preliminary discussions with officials at Plainridge Racecourse about building a site at the harness track.

 

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick filed legislation last month that would allow a casino to be built in three separate regions, Western Massachusetts, Southeastern Massachusetts, and the metro Boston area. The Globe is reporting that Trump has a list of as many as 12 sites he is researching. A source told the newspaper that Trump has talked to Plainridge owner Gary Piontkowski but that no agreement has yet been reached.
