Adrian Chip, runner-up to Donato Hanover in the 2007 Hambletonian, has been retired and will stand his first season in 2010 at Staro International Farm in Sweden. At three, Adrian Chip (1:51.3) won the Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli. He has lifetime earnings of $1.5 (US). The son of Andover Hall out of the Pine Chip mare Favorite Chip, was at one time owned by the NHL star Peter Forsberg. He will stand for a fee of $10,000 This year’s Yonkers Trot-winner Judge Joe (1:55.1f,$938,792) will also stand his first season. The son of Credit Winner out of the Garland Lobell mare, Judge Judy, has been purchased by the famed Norwegian soccer player Tom Lund, who previously raced Mostly Super in the U.S. Judge Joe will stand at Valneviken stud, close to the Norwegian border.
