Regis The Horse ($3.20, Montrell Teague) earned his second straight victory in front of a national audience at Harrington Raceway Thursday with a 1:56.4 triumph.
Named after TV superstar Regis Philbin, the 2-year-old son of Shadow Play was shown live on Fox Sports 1's "Crowd Goes Wild" for the second straight start and did not disappoint. The George Teague trainee followed Bazillion throughout most of the race before pulling from the pocket approaching the three-quarters and surging by for a one-length win in front of Philbin who once again cheered his namesake on along with his on-air cohorts.
"Crowd Goes Wild" is a daily sports discussion program hosted by Philbin, airing Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. ET. The live satellite feed from Harrington Raceway to Fox Sports 1 was provided by Roberts Communications Network LLC. (Harrington)
