The Perfectly handled by driver Dave Magee the daughter of Richess Hanover floated away from post position five. After being parked in third through an opening quarter of :28.3 Magee expertly maneuvered his charge into a small opening midway down the backstretch. Now in the garden spot Magee had She’s So Hot sitting right on the helmet of driver Dale Hiteman as he guided Parklane Starlet by the halfway station in :57.2. Around the far turn Parklane Starlet continued to show the way while Magee and She’s So Hot waited patiently in the pocket. A quickly developing outer flow led by Sienna Blue (Homer Hochstetler) brought several other fillies into contention as the field reached the three-quarter mile station in 1:27.3. In the lane Parklane Starlet continued to cling to the lead but the advantage was shrinking quickly as Magee moved to the outside of the pacesetter. Finding another gear this good looking youngster blew right on by her main rival with a sixteenth of a mile to go cruising to a 3 1/2-length verdict. Parklane Starlet held on for second while Lovely Hotspur (Brent Holland) was third. An eight-length winner in a 2-year-old prep in Ryan Anderson sits atop the driver standings heading into the summer break with 174 winners and a .333 UDR, while veteran Mike Oosting is second with 153 victories and an impressive UDR of .348.
