Sam Jacobs, Crissman Inc. and Ronald Reed's Hunt M Down trotted the second fastest mile in track history with a 1:55.1 triumph in the $18,500 Open Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

The Tim Crissman trainee and driver Tony Morgan made a quarter-pole move to the front and set fractions of :28.3, :58 and 1:26.2. He trotted a :28.4 last quarter to win by four lengths over Breeze Hill Will and Put Them On Hold. It was the 8-year-old Sj's Photo gelding's fourth win of the year as his lifetime bankroll soared to nearly $300,000.

Hunt M Down ($4) is the current all-age track record holder with a 1:54.4 win on June 21.

On the undercard, Horseman's Financial Agency and Premier Racing Stable's Rusty's Biggie ($8.20) was victorious in the $14,000 Junior Open in 1:59.4. The Tom Kirby trainee won his second straight race with Morgan aboard.

Ross Wolfenden and Morgan each won three races on the program. (Harrington)
