Albert Albert retired

After a 16-year stallion career, Albert Albert has been retired by Glengate Farms of Ontario and syndicate manager David James.



A world champion on the racetrack, Albert Albert was retired to Stonegate Farms in New Jersey at the end of his 3-year-old season in 1988 and was relocated to Glengate Farms in 1997. He also served as a shuttle stallion for several seasons to Australia.



From 1,097 foals of racing age, Albert Albert is the sire of 885 starters, 717 record performers, 566 in 2:00 and 214 in 1:55. His progeny have earned more than $57 million with 172 winners of more than $100,000. His average earnings per starter is $67,982.



Albert Albert's richest performers include world champion and double millionaire Pacific Rocket and millionaires Bad Bert and Ooh's ‘N Aah's.
