Peaceful Way trotted to a world record-equaling 1:52 victory in the $88,000 Allerage Farms Series final at The Red Mile Saturday afternoon. Driver Trevor Ritchie moved the 5-year-old mare to the lead at the opening quarter and led the rest of the route, drawing clear to win by open lengths over runner-up Abbey Craig, with Ticket To Glide right behind in third.

Last year's Dan Patch Award winner as the best older mare trotter, Peaceful Way increased her career earnings to $2,706,055 with the victory. The time equaled the world mark shared by Moni Maker and Kim's Lass, and missed her career best set last year as a 4 year old by just one-fifth of a second.

A daughter of Angus Hall, Peaceful Way is owned by Goin My Way Stable, Marvin Katz, Sam Goldband, breeder Angie Stiller and trainer Dave Tingley.

Glowing Report cruised to a 1:50.4 win in the $77,500 Allerage Farms Series final for older mare pacers. Just four went postward, with Four Starzzz Ittt second, Loyal Opposition third and Chotat Milk fourth.

David Miller drove the winner, who notched her third straight win and sixth of the year. The 5-year-old daughter of Artsplace is trained by Jerry Silverman and owned by Marvin Rounick. Her career earnings now surpass $1.84 million.

Sand Vic, who went winless last year in 14 starts, posted his 10th win of the year while capturing the $180,000 Allerage Farms Series final for older horse trotters. Brian Sears was in the sulky as the 5-year-old son of Mr. Vic won in 1:51.4, defeating Vivid Photo and Mr. Muscleman. Trond Smedshammer trains the winner for owner August Fredrik Miedel.

Holborn Hanover closed out the program with a win in the $189,000 Allerage Farms Series final for older horse pacers, and gave the crowd a thrill as the finish timer flashed "1:45" as he crossed the wire. However, a timing malfunction was quickly corrected and the official time given by the stewards after retiming the race via video was 1:49.3.

George Brennan was in the bike as Holborn Hanover, the world's fastest pacer with a mark of 1:46.4, drew clear from his rivals down the stretch to win for the ninth time this year. Ponder gave chase to finish second, with Maltese Artist third.

Brett Robinson trains the winner for owners John Fielding and Canamerica Capital Corp. He has lifetime earnings of more than $1.84 million.
