Laughandbehappy cruised to a five-length win in a career-best 1:52.3 in Thursday night’s second round of action in the White Ruffles Pacing Series at the Meadowlands. Laughandbehappy’s effort—her 14th victory in 17 career starts—earned her speed-badge honors among the four splits contested. John Campbell drove the winning 4-year-old daughter of Badlands Hanover for trainer Tony Alagna and owners Let It Ride Stables and Robert Cooper Stables. Also a winner in last week’s opening leg of the White Ruffles, Laughandbehappy now has career earnings topping $34,000. The other White Ruffles divisions were won by: TC’s Delight (Bettor’s Delight), in 1:55 for driver Brian Sears and trainer John Stark Jr.; Future Fire N (Courage Under Fire), in 1:54.2 for driver Mark Lewis and trainer Kelvin Harrison; and Balasun (The Panderosa), in 1:54.4 for driver Sears and trainer Sherif Cunmulaj.
