An Ideal win in Waterloo

Return Home
August 08, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Heavily-favored Warrawee Ideal won Monday night’s $300,000(C) Battle of Waterloo final at Grand River Raceway with a 1:56.4 effort, edging his pacesetting stablemate Test Flight, with Twin B Survivor third.

Driven by Jody Jamieson, Warrawee Ideal is trained by his father, Carl, who won the Battle of Waterloo—which is for Ontario-sired 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers—for the fifth time.

Carl Jamieson shares ownership in the son of Million Dollar Cam with the George Arthur Stable, Fred Brayford, and Robin Ws Raine. The win was his third in eight starts.
