September 18, 2007 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Carter Racing Stable's Immortal Quest N ($20.40, Eddie Davis Jr.) was the longest shot on the board in a five-horse field Monday at Harrington Raceway, but won the $26,000 Open Pace in 1:53.3.

Driven by Davis for trainer Bobby Myers, the 8-year-old Sands A Flyin gelding left hard from his rail post position and set a comfortable pace with fractions of :27.4, :57.3, and 1:25.3. He fought off a challenge from Village Blitz who was first-over, and drew clear by two lengths over Sharky Osborne and Redford Hall for the win. It was his third consecutive triumph.

Driver Tony Morgan won four races, while Ross Wolfenden and Davis each won three races on the card. (Harrington)
