November 14, 2009 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Hawaiianphotograph has memorized the script get to the front, back down the second quarter, sprint home--and she performed it flawlessly once more on Friday at The Meadows to capture her third straight $27,500 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Trot.

Brian Zendt hustled Hawaiianphotograph to the lead from post six in :27.3, then worked out a second panel in :29.2. With that breather, the 4-year-old daughter of S J’s Photo-Hawaiian Rose blazed an unchallenged back half in :57.3 and scored in 1:54.3. Teagan finished 3 1/2 lengths back, in second, while BVs Sister was a clear third.

Bill Zendt trains Hawaiianphotograph, who now has won 17 of 50 career starts and $341,234, for Shanamphilaniklou Inc.

Aaron Merriman drove three winners on the 13-race card. (The Meadows)
