Arty Foster Jr.'s Village Blitz ($5, Tim Tetrick) earned his fourth win of the meet Monday at Harrington Raceway by capturing the $20,300 Open Pace in 1:52.3. The 7-year-old Village Jiffy gelding sat behind pacesetting Redford Hall throughout the mile and fractions of :26.3, :55.4 and 1:24.3. Tetrick "blitzed" by in the stretch to grab his fifth win of the year. The Foster-trained Blitz has now banked nearly $500,000 lifetime. Redford Hall held second while Diamonds Revenge finished third.
It was one of four winners on the card for Tetrick. (Harrington)
