A week ago, the standout mare Miss Galvinator A ran roughshod over her rivals to become a  millionairess. Friday night, replete with her new seven-figure figure, she did it again. Miss Galvinator A, rejoining Yonkers Raceway's adult table, rolled home in the $40,000 co-featured Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace.

With Tony Morgan doing the honors from post position No. 4, this Miss--the 7-5 favorite--worked around Sherry (Larry Stalbaum) to grab the lead after a :27.4 opening quarter-mile. Sbe then found a  :57.1 intermission and 1:25.4 three-quarters, all the while dealing with a first-up Binions (Greg Grismore).

Miss Galvinator A turned a length-and-a-half advantage turning for home into a length-and-three-quarter margin at the wire, which she found in 1:54.1. Binions saved second, with Sherry, the invading Pancleefandarpels (Stephane Bouchard) and Ezpz Lemonsqueezy (Jason Bartlett) grabbing the loose change.

For Miss Galvinator A, a 9-year-old Down Under daughter of Fake Left from Team Annunziata--owner Richard and trainer Ettore--she returned $4.80 for her fourth win in 31 seasonal starts. She led a $17.20 exacta and $70 triple (three wagering choices in order).

Friday night's co-featured Open Handicap Trot saw the two outside assignees decide matters. American Lane (Cat Manzi), alert from the eight-hole, led San Remo Kosmos (Grismore) around the oval  (:28.2, 58.4 and 1:28.1)

American Lane, the 7-5 fave, had a length lead turnung for the glory, but San Remo Kosmos ducked inside, readying for his close-up.

He earned it--by a head--in 1:57.1, a second consecutive marquee trot win, with a week off in between. Four Starz Trump (Dan Dube), Grain of Truth (Jeff Gregory) and Light Headed (Bartlett) came away with the remaining pay envelopes.

For San Remo Kosmosm, a 5-year-old S J's Photo gelding co-owned by Upstate Downstate and Lindy Racing Stables, he paid $6.80 (second choice) for his fifth vuictory in 25 '08 tries. The exacta paid $24.80, with the triple returning $147.50. (Yonkers)
