Mildred Ventriglio's Quick And Deadly earned his fifth win in six tries Monday at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.4 in the $20,000 Open Pace.

Driven by Tony Morgan for trainer Tim Crissman, the 7-year-old Western Hanover gelding was positioned second-over toward a half mile in :57.1, when he would soon pursue pacesetting Bobnoxious up the back stretch and seize the lead near three-quarters in 1:25.3. Quick And Deadly pulled away in the stretch as Harry Hornet closed for second with Jr. Mint third.

It was his seventh win of the year as his seasonal earnings reached $77,090. Since his Harrington debut on Aug. 14, Quick And Deadly has only tasted defeat once, on Sept. 4 when he was parked the mile from post six. (Harrington)
