Minnesota track approved
January 20, 2005
The Minnesota Racing Commission on Wednesday gave its approval to a new harness racetrack, reversing its decision last October to deny the license. The Commission voted 5-3 to grant the license for the new $47 million racetrack to be build in Anoka County.

Windsor to open Jan. 23

Windsor Raceway has agreed to a 2005 race schedule approved by the Ontario Racing Commission, thus the track will open Sunday night, Jan. 23, for the first of 131 programs. Windsor will race Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays through April, when it will switch to a Sunday-Wednesday schedule in May
