Jim Crane dies
January 24, 2005
Jim Crane, the developer of such stars as Nero, Royce, Andrel, Radiant Ruler, Judge and Black Ace, died Friday, Jan. 21, from complications due to myelodysplasia, a bone marrow malfunction. He was 82. Mr. Crane's first horse was Dark Satin and for several years he trained at a farm in Maryland. H
