3,500 wins for MacDonell January 24, 2005
When Paul MacDonell drove Rockingham, a 4-year-old pacer, to the wire first on Sunday at Woodbine, he also hit a milestone: It was his 3,500th career win in the sulky.

Jim Crane dies January 24, 2005
Jim Crane, the developer of such stars as Nero, Royce, Andrel, Radiant Ruler, Judge and Black Ace, died Friday, Jan. 21, from complications due to myelodysplasia, a bone marrow malfunction. He was 82.
Mr. Crane's first horse was Dark Satin and for several years he trained at a farm in Maryland. H [read more]
