Crossfire N wins Open
March 16, 2005
Crossfire N won Tuesday's $27,000 Open Handicap Pace for mares at Dover Downs, scoring a 1:51.3 decision, the second fastest mile of the meet. Driven by Mike Cole, Crossfire N was sent three wide at the three-quarters, overtaking eventual runner-up Clock Watcher. Cams Little Imp N finished third.

Trainer Noel Daley's scheduled court appearance in New Jersey for today (March 16) has reportedly been postponed to April 6. Daley's barn at Magical Acres in Chesterfield, N.J. was raided by New Jersey State Police March 2, who allegedly found hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs
