Vernon slots open Oct. 26

Vernon Downs has announced it will open its new video gaming parlor Saturday, Oct. 26. The New York racetrack reopened for live racing in late August after being shuttered two years. Vernon will turn on 777 video gaming machines, which is projected to produce an annual profit of $9 million.
