Lillian McCarty Dies

Lillian McCarty, the personal secretary for the late Col. and Mrs. H. Willis Nichols Jr. of Walnut Hall Farm, died Monday, Oct. 23, in Harrodsburg, Ky. She was 82. Mrs. McCarty worked at the famed Standardbred nursery outside Lexington for 50 years.
