Eb Mahar dies in Florida

Eb Mahar, the paddock judge at the Meadowlands for many years, died earlier this week in Orlando, Fla. Mahar had been hospitalized for surgery for a hernia about four to five weeks ago, but failed to recover. Additional details about Mahar's age and services were not available at this time.
