Kentucky finals increased to $300,000

The finals for the 2008 Kentucky Sire Stakes have been increased to $300,000 per division, making the races the highest in the country in Sire Stakes competition. The increase was approved Monday by the Kentucky Horse Racing Authority, which determines the Sire Stakes purses annually each September.
