Godiva Hall, a filly by Like A Prayer, led the 2-year-old filly trotter class in Arden Downs action at The Meadows Thursday night, trotting to a strong 1:57.4 performance. In Arden Downs freshman pacing filly action, Western Graduate was the fastest with a 1:54.2 score. The Western Hanover filly is trained by Mickey Burke.

Godiva Hall, who was making her third pari-mutuel start, won comfortably for owners Stephen Oldford and Eugene Oldford of Michigan. Dave Palone handled the driving for trainer Pete Foley.

While fast, Godiva Hall's time was significantly slower than the track record of 1:56.4, set by Eye Perfect in 2003.

Among the other Arden Downs 2-year-old filly trotters winners was Upmarket Hanover, an SJ's Caviar filly, who rallied from off the pace after starting from post eight. She edged the pacesetting Classical Mary at the wire in 1:59. Mike Wilder drove Upmarket Hanover, who is owned by his wife, Heather, and father-in-law, trainer Dan Altmeyer. The victory was the filly's fifth in eight starts.

Also winning were Fuego in 2:01 and Mika's Mazurka in 2:01.2, two fillies by SJ's Caviar, and Pan Seared Tuna, a daughter of Andover Hall who picked up her first win in 2:00.1.

Other 2-year-old pacing filly divisions were won by Paint Me Perfect (by Real Artist) in 1:56.2, Real Velocity (by Real Artist) in 1:55.1, and Western Montana (by Western Hanover) in 1:56.4.
