Armbro Emma caught Box Of Dreams and scored a half-length victory in the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Green Acres final for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Wednesday at Freehold Raceway. Armbro Emma, driven by Stephen Smith and trained by Ben Stafford, trotted the mile in 1:59.4, picking up her third win with two seconds and five thirds from 15 starts this year.
The daughter of Dream Vacation, owned by Edwin Gold of
Box Of Dreams, a daughter of Donerail, cut the fractions and edged out her stablemate, Short Vacation (by Dream Vacation) for second money in the sixth race feature. (NJSS)
