Armbro Emma takes Green Acres final

Return Home
October 11, 2007 | Print View

Armbro Emma caught Box Of Dreams and scored a half-length victory in the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Green Acres final for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Wednesday at Freehold Raceway.

Armbro Emma, driven by Stephen Smith and trained by Ben Stafford, trotted the mile in 1:59.4, picking up her third win with two seconds and five thirds from 15 starts this year.

The daughter of Dream Vacation, owned by Edwin Gold of Wayne, Pa., has now banked nearly $50,000.  It was the filly’s second consecutive win.

Box Of Dreams, a daughter of Donerail, cut the fractions and edged out her stablemate, Short Vacation (by Dream Vacation) for second money in the sixth race feature. (NJSS)
