Artcotic, the New Jersey Sire Stakes champion at Freehold last year, will attempt to repeat in the $85,000 final for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday at Freehold Raceway. The daughter of Artiscape–Pumped has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favorite in the seventh race feature. She will leave from post three with Stephen Smith driving. At two, the filly won five of seven starts, including the Freehold final of the New Jersey Sire Stakes on Sept. 9. She was also voted 2-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year by the New Jersey Sire Stakes Board of Trustees.

Five of the eight finalists (Lightning D Dube, Phyleon, Pop Diva, Platinum Hanover and Wild Ride Hanover) are daughters of Western Ideal. Other stallions represented are Artsplace (Ozmopolitan), Artiscape (Artcotic) and Dream Away (Spring Break).
