Seelster Farms is proud to announce the addition of one of this decade’s most dynamic and talented pacers to its stallion roster, the double world champion Artistic Fella p, 2, 1:53.3; 3, 1:48.4; 1:48f ($2,604,855).

The world’s fastest pacer on a five-eighths mile track retires after four very impressive seasons at the racetrack. As a 2 year old he just made four starts, but won three of those, including two New Jersey Sire Stakes.

He exploded onto the scene as a 3 year old, winning 10 straight races including the Meadowlands Pace elim and final, the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Berry’s Creek elim and final, the Suslow final and several NJSS.

He graduated to the free-for-all ranks in style as he took in more than $1.6 million from 30 starts (12 wins) at four and five. During that period he won such prestigious events as the Breeders Crown, the Dan Patch, several Classic Series legs and final, the Franklin elimination and final, an elimination of the William Haughton and defeated such standouts as Mister Big, Boulder Creek, Casimir Camotion, Mr. Feelgood and Lis Mara.

Artistic Fella retired with standings of 26-10-4 in 52 lifetime starts and two world records and over $2.6 million earned. A dozen of his victories were sub 1:50 miles with seven between 1:48 and 1:48.4. A son of Pacific Fella, his second dam is the $342,000 winner Everything Goes.

Artistic Fella will begin his North American stallion career in 2010 at Seelster Farms of Lucan, Ontario, where he will stand alongside Camluck, Modern Art, Western Maverick, Stonebridge Regal, Duke Of York, In Conchnito and Pegasus Spur. His fee is to be announced. For further information please visit SeelsterFarms.com. (Seelster Farms)
