Art's Conquest sold to England's Camden Stud

Art’s Conquest, sire of  Coldheartedrevenge p, 1:48.3, Live Out Loud p, 1:49.4, and Booze Cruzin p,4, 1:49.4, among others, will be heading across the Atlantic to stand at Camden Stud in York, England, next year. The 12-year-old son of Artsplace was purchased by Camden Stud’s Michael Welling for $22,000 Thursday during the opening session of the Mixed Sale at Harrisburg.

 

Art’s Conquest has stood at Cottonwood Farm in Big Rock, Ill., for the past nine years where he has sired the winners of $9,926,804. At Camden Stud he will join Tattersalls Pace winner Yankee Lariat p,3,1:50.4 ($421,560) in the farm’s stallion barn.
