Artzina, the 2006 Nova and Dan Patch Two Year Old Pacing Colt of the Year, will be standing at Winbak Farm of Delaware in 2010.
The son of Artiscape won in 1:51.1 at age two, capturing a New Jersey Sire Stakes championship, Goshen Cup, elimination and final of the Matron, Metro elimination, Woodrow Wilson elimination, and Breeder’s Crown elimination, where he finished third in the final. At three, Artzina came back competitive in the New Jersey Sire Stakes winning two legs, and was second in the James B. Dancer Memorial and Battle Of The Brandywine, and won the Isle of Capri at four.
“Artzina will be a great addition to our stallion line up in Delaware,” commented general manager Garrett Bell. “He offers early speed, conformation, prestige and the breeding I think this state is looking for. It is hard to go wrong with the Artiscape/Artsplace line.”
Artzina will be standing for $4,500 in 2010. (Winbak Farm)
