After three sparkling qualifiers, New Zealand pacing sensation Auckland Reactor is set to make his U.S. racing debut in the $32,000 tenth race invitational Saturday night at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Auckland Reactor will start from post three in the seven-horse field with Brian Sears at the lines. The 6-year-old won of 10 of 16 starts and more than $500,000 last season, which garnered him Horse Of The Year honors in his native country. Lifetime, the son of 2002 Meadowlands Pace winner Mach Three has 25 victories and earnings of $963,741 to his credit.

New Zealand native Kelvin Harrison trains Auckland Reactor for AR Stable, an ownership group that includesPeter Heffering, Tom Kyron, Bill Loyens, Doug Millard, Irv Storfer, Fred Brayford and Dr. Michael Wilson. Auckland Reactor will make his stakes debut in the Bettor’s Delight at Tioga Downs on June 13. He is also eligible to the Meadowlands’ premier summer events for open pacers, the $688,000 (est.)
