Average price up at Cottonwood Sale

The 14th annual Cottonwood Farm Yearling Sale was conducted Sunday afternoon with 63 yearlings going through the sales ring for an average price of $14,911, a 4.5 percent increase form last year’s sale.

 

Topping the sale was Whomthenshallifear, a Cole Muffler colt from the Western Hanover mare Superstitious, who brought a final bid of $49,000 from Z Tam Racing Stable of Nanuet, N.Y. The dam is out of Life’s Dream, a full sister to Life Sign.
